: In the following cases, the officer ordering punishment may reduce a maximum of five salary increments to which a police employee has been deficient or to reduce to the initial scale of the depreciated including the seniority of the current post or demotion to a lower post. Can do :-
(a) In case of indiscipline,
(b) in breach of the rules relating to conduct mentioned in rules 96, 99, 106 and 107,
(c) If within five years of his appointment, he gives false reasons for resigning,
(d) In case of disobeying or not implementing the order given in accordance with the law,
(e) absent without reasonable cause or without taking leave or absent,
(f) In case of negligence or failure to comply with the rules and orders,
(g) In case of negligent damage to government property,
(h) If found guilty of any other criminal charges other than criminal offenses involving moral turpitude, fine or compensation, or both, in addition to imprisonment.
